THE STORY OF SISTER REINOLDA
The Central Zulu Land in South Africa, with all its natural beauty was chosen by the Blessed Virgin Mary to be released under the title "Mary, Tabernacle of the Most High", through His servant the Reinolda Sister a Bendectina nun .
The Reinolda Sister born in Germany on October 21, 1901 with the name Francisca May. had seven brothers and was raised on a farm. It was a lively and lovely girl, with a strong devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. Due in large part to the efforts of the pastor is encouraged, along with many of his young parishioners to consider religious life. Consequently joined the Missionary Benedictine Sisters but after falling ill, I had to return to his family. After recovering tried a second time. This time it was accepted.

Not far from here, in Ngome, the Benedictines had a large farm.
Reinolda was recognized by his peers for being disciplined for his wisdom, calm and serene, friendly and always smiling, good for mothers who raised her, and dedicated to teaching. His students waiting for their conferences, often improvised explaining things in the primitive hospital. She took the initiative in problem solving and creativity shapes their style of prayer. She became one of the most famous Catholic missionary in Zulu land. Sister Reinolda entered the service of others, bringing people to the Church, and had a deep concern for the welfare of the poor. Her kind and friendly personality made him popular. She encouraged many to pray the Rosary and asked them to teach others to do the same. Taught the Zulus say the Rosary and go to church often.
During his tenure at the Catholic Mission Hospital in Nongoma experienced ten visions of "Mary, Tabernacle of the Most High."
Sister Reinolda felt the urgent need to spread the message that Mary had brought her.
Many have answered the call of the Blessed Virgin.
In 1975 celebrated its 50th Sor Reinolda º anniversary as a Benedictine nun. At age 74 he retired from his post as head of the maternity department. She continued to visit the sick, comforting the dying and reconciling with the Church. She spent the last 8 years of his life in missionary station near Inkamana where, on April 1, 1981, died. A wooden cross and banks are near the water's edge. The captivating beauty of the Chapel provides comfort to the pilgrims and are driven to prayer.
MESSAGES OF MARY, THE TABERNACLE OF THE HIGHEST
First Encounter. 22 August 1955. Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Shortly after Holy Communion, Mary stood before me, very close. Everything was seen in the spirit. I was drawn in another atmosphere. Mary was in a wonderful light, more beautiful than the sun. She was dressed all in white, flowing veil from top to bottom. Rested on his chest a great host surrounded by a bright corona that radiates life. Keeping It was a life. Mary was on the globe, invisible hands and feet. I felt like entering a cloud, produced by Mary, far from land. His eyes were closed but I saw so much light that, for several days I was so dazzled by the beauty and the light he had seen.
Mary said:
Call me "Tabernacle of the Most High." You're a Tabernacle. I want to be called by this title for the glory of My Son. I wish more were prepared Tabernacles. I mean human hearts. I wish the altars are surrounded by people praying more often. Do not be afraid. Make it known.
Who?
Do not be afraid. Tell him your priest.
2 0 and 3 0 Meetings.
In October 1955, on two separate occasions, Reinolda sister had similar encounters.
It happened immediately after the Mass was the same figure , same place , same requests were repeated but the following is added:
Ago these words known to all. Do not be afraid . You are a tool of God.
Then Christ came to this great host and had a bond with me.
4th Meeting , March 15, 1956 .
After Mass, Mary stood before me (serious) . She said the following :
My child , I know your anxiety
( She bent down and pulled me to herself )
You asked for a sign?
Not for me, for others to believe . They do not believe me .
I would like a shrine was erected to me in the place where the seven streams meet. Here I will display my thanks in abundance flow . Many people come to God.
When I asked where is the place? wordless She made a movement of his hand and pointed upward majestically in a certain direction . This made me very happy and felt great security .
Do not be afraid . Make it known. It 's your job. I'll see you again.
5th Meeting . June 5, 1956
Three months later , on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, during the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament , Sister Reinolda had another vision . He did not give any message , but Mary found a simple but profound way.
She left the custody and approached me as a Custody life.
6th Meeting . March 15, 1957
Mary gave the following message:
I come to give you strength . I can make use of your nothingness . It totally humble .
Pausing , she called me herself and said :
I want to save the world through the host. A 'm completely with the host as I was one with Jesus on the cross ... There are terrible things to you, unless they become.
I asked : We ?
Yes , if the religious are not converted and if the world does not become
Mother, give me a sign
They all love and provision. All people who hear and believe these , my words, they will receive a signal from me. You have all these familiar words.
7th Meeting . May 24, 1957
Mary appeared two months later :
These words were heard clearly:
Do not lose heart!
( In December 1957 while visiting Ngome , Sr. . Reinolda had a strong desire to see what was the place you want Virgin to be erected his sanctuary , the place where seven streams meet )
8th Meeting . April 17, 1958
As a command, Mary said :
Go to your place . Hurry , time is advanced . I must contain flows Gracia hard because you do not do any effort to help me. I 'm asking for your help , My chosen .
What am I supposed to do?
Being hosts. Preparing hosts for me. Hosts that are completely available to me . Only a sea of wafers can roll back the hatred of the world without God and retain the angry hand of the Father . Do not tire . Find solace in revealing myself to you. I will never forsake you.
Where is the place of streams ?
In your property in the mountains .
With a wave of the hand indicates Mary , for the second time in the same direction .
Do not be afraid . Hurry up , you know .
(On the farm Benedictine classrooms in the school were it used as the Chapel. A picture of "Mary Tabernacle of the Most High " was painted and was hung in the classroom until the chapel was erected. Pentecost Sunday 1966 was held a ceremony to open and bless the Chapel. After the eighth meeting , spent twelve years before Our Lady brought another message. )
9th Meeting . March 23, 1970
It was the second night after a horrible appearance of the devil. I was awakened from my sleep . Around me there was light. Mary Tabernacle of the Most High was beside me . She took me in her arms and comforted me . She said :
I know about your anxiety. I 'm with you. I will not leave you.
Before she disappeared said :
Look Away .
There were (San ) Miguel armor and a spear in his hands. To his right a few dresses were white cherubs , with arms crossed . After about two minutes they disappeared like bright light. This was a great comfort to me.
10 º Encuentro. May 2, 1971 by visiting Ngome
Shortly before I left, I went back to the chapel with a small group of women. A catechumen had complained that a lady was in trouble because she wanted to believe. One of his neighbors fighting women. I prayed aloud to the woman and asked Mary to help this woman and to make this troublemaker.
Suddenly I realized that painting was alive . She stepped forward and his face was immensely beautiful . In my excitement, I shouted : "Look at Mary." I am convinced that this woman also saw Mary . I personally was so excited that I walked away in silence. The troubled man asked the priest forgiveness, and since then there is peace.
Ngome IS APPROVED BY THE CHURCH
During 1989 , the bishop Manuset Biyase ( Bishop of Eshowe - the diocese found Ngome ) and Fr Michael Mayer OSB met with Father Paul B. Decock OMI, president of the TAC ( Theological Advisory Commission of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Southern Africa ) , to discuss the matter Ngome . At their request of Father Paul B. Decock reaching Ngome a statement in which he says :
"There is nothing objectionable in it ( the promotion Ngome Shrine and the veneration of the Virgin under the name of Tabernacle of the Most High ) . Needless divine sanction to start a sanctuary and venerate the Virgin . Pilgrimages can afford even if you are not sure about the "authenticity" of the visions. The content of the visions is doctrinally acceptable . These views can be presented in sermons and pamphlets " (cf. Paul B. Decock , Visions Ngome , 05/07/90 ; Ngome Archive) . .
The November 13, 1990 , Father Michael Mayer issued a circular in which he wrote: " The Shrine of Ngome is a sign of the presence of the Virgin in the life of the local Church ... Devotion to Our Lady Ngome will be an opportunity to work and pray for peace in our country ... the story began Ngome thirty-five years ago. Many believe the Marian shrine in Ngome is the work of Our Lady . " This was followed by several similar letters , announcing the various activities and events taking place in Ngome " . ( cf. 8.22.92 circular letters ; 01/09/92 , 02/02/93 , 25/04/93 ) .
Meanwhile , the meaning of Ngome as a shrine of the Virgin and a special place of worship in the Diocese of Eshowe was also confirmed by the decisions and actions taken by the Bishop. In December 1991 , he joined Ngome to the Sacred Heart of Inkamana . Fr Michael Mayer, the pastor of Inkamana , now acting as the custodian of the shrine.
A very important day in the annals of Ngome was Saturday, October 3, 1992 , when the bishop blessed the altar Mansuet Biyase outdoors. It was built on a platform attached to the south of the church front. The Bishop celebrated Mass with several hundred pilgrims who had come from the Diocese of Eshowe and further. He used this opportunity to declare Ngome Marian Shrine as a place of prayer. Ngome thus became a shrine of the Virgin which has the approval of the Church . This meant that pilgrimages to Ngome were not merely tolerated but actively promoted could be now . Fr Michael calls a day as a historic day, saying, " Our Lady , Mother, Tabernacle of the Most High , has done wonders . We thank you . We ask you to show many people the road to her ... to make her Ngome shrine known in our beloved country " ( cf. P. CL. Michael , 22/08/92 ) .
The Bishop of Eshowe, Mansuet Biyase , has participated in three major pilgrimages to Ngome in 1993. Each time between three and five hundred people gathered around the shrine . Bishop Hubert Bucher Bethlehem ( South Africa) , South African national delegate to the Eucharistic Congress in Seville in 1993, was the principal celebrant at a Mass pilgrimage to Ngome on Saturday October 30, 1993 . Mass of thanksgiving was held in the Ngome May 31, 1994 , after the first free general elections were conducted peacefully in the country.
On December 8, 1994 was a day of special significance for Ngome . Besides being the feast of the Immaculate Conception was also the 40th anniversary of the first mystical experience of Sister Reinolda May . Pascal Rowland Bishop of the neighboring diocese of Dundee, celebrated Mass and gave the benediction at Ngome . It gave the homily in which he presented a challenging message about the need of Eucharistic devotion. After this , Bishop Rowland blessed a statue of Our Lady, Tabernacle of the Most High , I would find a home in the place of streams. The Bishop blessed the crucifix, and a new painting of the Virgin , which are shown in the small sanctuary.
In June 1996, hundreds of pilgrims headed to Ngome for the blessing of the new Center for Pilgrims Rest by Bishop Biyase . On this day the Bishop also blessed new grotto and the statue of Our Lady was built by the Centre and the corpus that had been donated to the cross next to the small shrine .
In 1997 , he periódioco Southern Cross Catholic articles Ngome made several new documentaries and video have been produced in the Sanctuary.
In December 1997 Twasana Benedictine nuns moved into their new convent was built next to the Shrine Ngome . As a "community of worship " their main apostolate is prayer ( with special emphasis on the worship of the Blessed Sacrament ) and care of pilgrims. The sisters deal Ngome pilgrims .
In 1998 Ngome appears on national television in South Africa ( SABC ) in at least six separate occasions. Each of these programs to Ngome reatrata a very positive light. The most notable of these was a half-hour documentary which screened at prime time. This program was also broadcast the next day.
On the feast of Mary Queen (August 22 ) in 1998 became Bishop Biyase Ngome especially to bless the Benedictine sisters in their new apostolate in the care of pilgrims.
In 1999 , the Diocesan Pilgrimage of the Diocese of Eshowe was held in Ngome . Biyase Bishop was present and many others referred to this day , with its various liturgical celebrations , like it was a truly remarkable day.
All these facts clearly indicate that the Ngome Shrine in honor of Our Lady has become a real place of pilgrimage for Catholics in the Diocese of Eshowe and many others in South Africa.
PHENOMENON IN SPECTACULAR Ngome
The December 13, 1997 was a very special day in Ngome . The Feast of the Immaculate Conception had been moved from Monday 8 to Saturday 13. Many members of the various communities of the Benedictine Sisters of Twasana Ngome arrived early in the morning to celebrate the creation of a new convent consisting of four Benedictine Sisters at the Shrine Ngome .
A morning Mass was conducted of the Immaculate Conception , and prayers at the shrine . The celebrations continued throughout the day . At the end of Mass, Father Michael Mayer OSB, the custodian of the Shrine Ngome , welcomed the Sisters to Ngome . This day , in a very real sense , symbolizes for many an important step towards fulfilling the desire which Sor Reinolda had to strengthen the Eucharistic presence Ngome as the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament now become common in the Sanctuary Ngome step. Sister Regina, the mother superior of the Congregation of the Benedictine Sisters of Twasana , said the day was truly a historic day for your order.
About twelve minutes after sunset dramatic phenomenon appeared in the sky over Ngome . He was captured on video. The phenomenon consisted of several blue rays of light radiating in the direction in which the sun had set . The rays were increasing in number and thickness . Shortly before they disappeared , the clouds illuminated in the sky seemed to flame. The whole phenomenon lasted about fifteen minutes. All present were deeply moved by the event .
February 8, 1998 The images of the rays were included in the program 50/50 SABC TV . The scientific explanation presented in the program to describe the phenomenon was successful and the rarity of the spectacular display of crepuscular rays are clearly highlighted . The rays were presented again on national television on 28 and 29 June 1998 as part of a documentary about Ngome produced by the South African Broadcasting Corporation.
Although the phenomenon was visible over a large area of land that night, it was found that crepuscular rays shone at its best right next to the Chapel of Ngome . This is because there was a perfectly straight line between the sanctuary and the formation of clouds and crepuscular rays caused the sun. In view of this , plus the fact that the phenomenon occurred in a day of great significance in the history of Ngome , many believe that the event was definitely a sign from God , a sign that was not meant only for the people Ngome but also for the people of South Africa and beyond.
