The origin is sixteenth century. Witness the picture of the Madonna and Child known as the Jumper, named after the town river, frescoes dating from the sixteenth century to be assigned to Loschi Bernardino. The current building was constructed in 1872 on the sacred design of the architect Achille Sammarini, according elegant forms neoclassiche.È small, to a Greek cross on Doric pilasters and classical inspiration. It has a unique altar frontal canary of the eighteenth century altarpiece by Giovanni Pozzuoli and also canary in the beginning of the seventeenth century, attributed to Guido Fassi, containing the 'fresco of the Madonna of Bridges Loschi, which is accessed via two stairways laterali.Da May 2005, contains two works of the painter Alberto Carpi Rustichelli illustrating scenes of the miracle of Ponticelli. He was elevated to the title of diocesan shrine in 1935.
